MSQ wishes to thank all who attended our 2010 BBQ. It was great to have Maritime Motorsports join us. A total of $438 was raised for Gentle Path Counseling Services. Many thanks to all who donated prizes including Motoplex, Atlantic Road Racing League , Sue Patterson, Mick O'Kane, Martime Motor Sports, and Irving Energy Division.
A big thank you to Bonnie and Don Snodgrass for all your fund raising donations. Thanks Brenda for the re-donation of your prize. Thank you to Shera and Ed who were very busy at the ticket tables, and to Dylan who did a great job helping Lou man the BBQ.

Unrelated to the BBQ, we would like to express our appreciation to all who did what they could when MSQ experienced its second break-in (letter to the editor, tips, etc) and to the media for its coverage in bringing awareness of the damage this does to small businesses. This year, our annual BBQ event is continuing awareness and support for our troops by raising funds for the David Greenslade Centennial Trust Fund.

In 2007, MSQ had a BBQ at year's end and the proceeds went to Romero House. In 2008 MSQ would like to help raise awareness of a local organization called United Catena Training Center. The United Catena Training Center is a non-profit organization incorporated in 1987 to provide support and services to adults with intellectual and/or physical disabilities. Currently the center provides vocational life skills training as well as valued daily activities for 35 adults on a full-time basis. |

Benefit and Silent Auction
 To help in the assistance of purchasing a wheelchair assessable van for a single mother of a 9 yr old boy named Tristan who was born prematurely and as a result has multiple disabilities including: severe cerebral palsy, visual impairment, development, developmental delay, and epilepsy. The benefit & silent auction will take place at the Aquarius 990 Fairvale Blvd, Sept. 13, 2008 at 6pm. |

Thanks to all who were able to attend the MSQ BBQ. (click here for pictures) It was a great day, lots of people, lots of bikes.
